This 1984 photographic portrait by Sunil Gupta of Emmanuel Cooper and his partner, David Horbury, is currently on display at Tate Britain.
The portrait is part of the series ‘Lovers: Ten Years On’ which entered the Tate permanent collection in 2018. They are now being shown in ‘No Such Things as Society’ part of a show of Modern and Contemporary British Art.
