Pots made by Emmanuel Cooper have been returned to his former home and pottery - the Fonthill Pottery -  as part of the exhibition ‘Electric Kiln’ which is showcasing his work alongside pots by Lucie Rie and paintings and drawings by Frank Auerbach.

The show focuses on the impact of the built environment on the work of all three artists and the paintings, charcoals and ceramics are shown on or against the modernist design of Pierre Jeanneret and Le Corbusier.

Entry to the show is by appointment only. Contact rsvp@rajanbiljani.com for further details.

The photo above features a group of four pots [to the right of the image] by Emmanuel; a teapot and cup by Lucie Rie and, above the fireplace, a charcoal drawing of Primrose Hill by Frank Auerbach.

The second image [below] features three pots by Lucie Rie and an oil painting by Frank Auerbach  -  displayed in what was the shop of the Fonthill Pottery and which is now a kitchen.
