Two pots by Emmanuel Cooper are featured in the Made in Britain auction at Sotheby’s with bidding between 7th - 14th September 2021.
‘South Bank III' is a stoneware bowl with volcanic glaze, dating from 2002, and first shown in the Emmanuel Cooper exhibition at the White Gallery, Hove, April 2002.
The second pot is a large stoneware platte with a green textured glaze and dates from the late 1990s. It was shown in the Emmanuel Cooper OBE 1938 - 2012: A Retrospective: Contemporary Applied Arts: 11th April - 1st June 2014.
