Two bowl forms by Emmanuel Cooper are included in the Art & Design post 1880 auction at Duke’s, Dorchester on the 29th April, 2022.
A large stoneware bowl form and a smaller porcelain bowl form, both by Emmanuel Cooper and dating from 2002, are included in the Art & Design post 1880 auction at Duke’s, Dorchester on the 29th April, 2022.
The bowls, which feature a volcanic glaze, were first shown at a solo exhibition of Cooper’s pots at the White Gallery, Hove in the spring of 2002. He gave the large stoneware bowl form the title of ‘Highway III’ and the smaller porcelain bowl ‘White Highway I’.
